The Gabila’s Knishes ads I wrote won an award

It was an honour to be the copywriter on Napkin Marketing’s campaign for their client Gabila’s. You should definitely try Gabila’s Knishes. They’re kind of latke-ish, and Hannukah starts Sunday night, so it’s a kosher time to do it! (The award was in the summer, but I’m just getting around to posting about it now, on November 30th. Sorry, but I’ve got a long To Do list and so many emails in my inbox. I’ll need knishes for sustenance to get me through it.) If you want to use Napkin for your marketing and website needs, I’ll connect you with them and get you a discount. And if you want to use me as a copywriter, I’ll connect you with myself. And heck, I’ll get myself to give you a discount too.

You can read about the campaign at Napkin’s Linkedin post:

And on their blog here. And on their page where they show the work here. But since my mentor says I should keep readers on my own website, below is the short version that napkin wrote:

Gabila’s Knishes’ Social Media Campaign Wins Platinum at 2018 Hermes Creative Awards

napkin marketing brought home a delicious win with a Hermes Platinum award in the Social Media category for our social media food marketing campaign for Gabila’s Knishes!

napkin marketing helped Gabila’s market their knish in a variety of ways to refresh their brand. We redesigned their logo to an image that was more modern to capture new audiences and still maintain its traditional look. We enhanced their social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with images promoting knishes and other menu items for holidays and special occasions. We also created Facebook and Instagram content, as well as paid social media campaign to further build the audience and grow the brand. The project included a food photo and video shoot to demonstrate Gabila’s knish recipes and launch the company’s YouTube and Instagram channels.
